La Closerie de Gigny is the ideal starting point for discovering the heritage, architectural and gastronomic riches of Burgundy.

Located in Yonne on the border of Côte d'Or and Aube, the Closerie de Gigny is 30 minutes from Chablis, 20 minutes from Les Riceys and 1 hour 20 minutes from Dijon.

Gigny is a small, peaceful farming village, the only village in the Yonne to have an elegant twisted bell tower.

The region, known for its wine and castles, offers multiple activities and outing possibilities.


One property, three houses:

- “Maison des Sœurs” built in 1897 by Father Laventureux, is a former hospice managed by nuns of the Charity of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul.


- "La Maison Templiere" dating from the time of the Templars, whose window seats, fireplace and the remains of a mullioned window were preserved and highlighted during the renovation.



- “Maison Marguerite”, a typical house of the region, was completely renovated in 2023.


Pleasant and friendly, they have large living rooms, allowing you to get together in a warm atmosphere.

    Both properties are fully equipped with Wi-Fi, kitchens with modern appliances, private outdoor spaces, and comfortable living areas. La Templière also features a private pool, while Maison Marguerite boasts a charming garden and a pétanque court.

    Yes, both La Templière and Maison Marguerite have free private parking.

    Check-in is from 5:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM. If possible, for weekend stays only, earlier check-in and later check-out can be arranged depending on the schedule. Please do not hesitate to ask.

  • Are the accommodations suitable for families?

    Yes, both properties are family-friendly. La Templiére offers plenty of outdoor space and a private pool, while Maison Marguerite's peaceful garden is perfect for families with children. Each house has plenty of play equipment for children. High chairs and cots are available upon request.
